REBECCA & JASON WALKER

Rebecca and Jason met at 19, while studying abroad in Lausanne, Switzerland. Friendship turned into love, and they married at 22. With a shared interest in photography, they both earned portfolio scholarships to the Savannah College of Art & Design. Rebecca went on to graduate with honors, while Jason was honored just to graduate.

Enticed by unpaid internships and a tiny $300 room in the apartment of a friend of a friend, they packed up a U-Haul and moved to Brooklyn, NY. Rebecca worked for Magnum Photo Agency and PDN Magazine, while Jason assisted portrait and fashion photographers such as Annie Leibovitz, Nadav Kandar, and Paola Kudacki. As individual wedding photographers, Rebecca and Jason were represented by Ira Lippke Studios.

After 9 years of individual work in New York, they decided to move to California, and work exclusively as a husband and wife team.  Their family grew to include 3 kids and a dog named Bear, and their connection to West Coast planners and clients grew as well.  Now 11 years later, Rebecca and Jason have expanded once again, establishing a hub in Cascais, Portugal.  Walker Studios continues to work with trusted planners and clients across NYC, LA, and now welcomes events throughout Europe and beyond.
